Kindergarten finished our March social emotional theme of Individuality with Mrs. Sancken yesterday by reading the book “The World Needs More Purple People” by Kristen Bell and Benjamin Heart. A Purple Person embraces what makes them unique while also finding common ground with those around you. To remind them to be purple people, we made purple sunglasses!
Good morning! On May 3rd our 3-8th graders will be attending a Peoria Chief's baseball game. Our bus will leave around 7:45 and return around 3-4pm. If your child is attending they will not get a ride home from our school bus, so please plan on picking them up when the bus gets back from the game. If you are interested in being a chaperone, please email mcdermaidm@saunemin.org by the end of the week.
