Volleyball practice begins on Tuesday, December 9th, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with a parent meeting scheduled for 6:00 PM. Please remember that all playersmust have an updated sports physical on file in order to participate.

The mobile dentist is coming to our school on December 1, 2025. This is a no-cost to you program, and all insurance is accepted, including Medicaid. If you would like your child to receive dental care, they will need to be signed up. Registration is easy! Sign up your child today at https://www.myschooldentist.com/SESCIL_schsrm or fill out and sign the permission form that was sent home. If you have not received a permission form, please get in touch with the school today and ask for one to be sent home with your child. This is a convenient program that saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable place for your child to receive gentle care from licensed local professionals. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride, and sealants when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings. We would like to remind everyone about our Veterans Luncheon on Tuesday, November 11th, held in honor of our veterans’ service and contributions. This event is exclusively for veterans and seniors.
Date: Tuesday, November 11th
Lunch: 12:15 PM in the cafeteria
Veterans Program: 1:00 PM in the gymnasium
Our lunch menu includes turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, green bean casserole, dinner roll, sweet potato casserole, and pie for dessert.
If you have a student attending Saunemin Elementary School, they are welcome to join you for dessert following lunch.
We can’t wait to honor you and show our appreciation for all you have done for our country.

Just a reminder that on Halloween we will have our parade at 9am in the gym. Our dance will follow and will go until 10:30. Parents and visitors are allowed to come in the gym for the parade, but they must leave before the dance starts. Please, no weapons or blood with student costumes. Students must also follow the dress code such as short/skirt length, crop top, halter top, sleeveless shirts that show skin on the side of the body, etc...
