Reminder that the book fair starts today and runs through the end of the week. There is a family night on Wednesday from 5-7, and the book fair will be open at that time. We are celebrating Read Across America this week as well as Dr. Suess' birthday. Come enjoy a Dr. Suess filled evening on Wednesday.

Track season will now start this Friday the 7th from 3:45-5:45 with a parent meeting to follow. This is for students in grades 5-8. It is ok for volleyball girls to miss because of regionals.
Athletic pictures for cheer, basketball, and volleyball are scheduled on Monday the 10th. We will take them during school hours. These are for the students that finished the entire season. We will be collecting uniforms that day. The ordering is done online and we will get that information out soon.
We will start track and field for grades 5-8 on 3/14 from 3:45-5:45. There will be a brief parent meeting at the conclusion of practice. All students must have a current physical on file to participate.

This is a reminder that today is a 2:00 dismissal and Parent/Teacher conferences are this evening from 2:30-7:00, rescheduled from last Wednesday night. All times from last week are the same unless different arrangements have been made with your teacher.

Saunemin's Preschool Screening for the 25-26 school year will be at the Odell Library on March 3, 2025 by appointment only. Please call 815-998-2272, ext 2. Any student who will be 3 years old by September 1st should be screened.
Due to weather and ensuring the safety of our families and staff, P/T conferences for tonight will be postponed to next Wednesday, 2/19 from 2:30-7:00. All times for conferences will remain the same. Let Mrs. Sancken know if you need to change your time.
While no decision has been made about tomorrow, there is a possibility of an early dismissal or an E-Learning day. I could potentially see an early dismissal of 11:15 or 11:30. That decision would be made as soon as possible in the morning. Please be prepared with a back up plan for whatever is decided.
Spring picture day has been rescheduled it will now be on Monday, March 3rd.
The 8th grade basketball regional takes place tomorrow at Pontiac St. Mary's at 5:00pm. Our bus will leave at 4:10.
