Saunemin Community Consolidated School District #438 is governed by a School Board consisting of 7 members.  The Board's powers and duties include the authority to adopt, enforce, and monitor all policies for the management and governance of the District.

The Saunemin Community Consolidated School District #438 Board of Education meets for its regularly schedule business meeting on the second Tuesday of the month.  The Board of Education meetings take place at 7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise indicated).  Meetings take place in the music room, located at Saunemin Elementary School, 39 Main Street, Saunemin, IL.
