IESA State Track Meet in East Peoria

The State Qualifiers had a great time in East Peoria at the I.E.S.A. State Track and Field Meet held at the EastSide Centre on May 14th and 15th. The 7th grade girls came home with 7th place medals in the 4 x 100 Meter Relay. The relay team consists of Ashton F, who lead the way, handing off to Nickole O for the 2nd leg. Nickole handed off to Kelly P to run the curve, and Kelly handed off to Jorden G. Jorden ran a great anchor leg and brought the team to a school record time of 56.31, beating their own record of 58.04.
Bryan W showed off his long jumping skills by jumping 17 feet 11.25 inches, earning him a 5th place medal to bring home.
All the athletes performed great on Friday and Saturday.
